Project Scope and Challenge

Client needed to migrate logic from their Python/Flask Raspberry Pi app and integrate it into an existing Android app.

Prior to this, the Android app only simulated sensor data and lacked back-end connectivity.

The Goal

Enable the Android mobile client to communicate with Python-powered sensors/logic, leveraging real device data and robust cloud API integration.

Solution & Implementation

Analysis

Analyzed both codebases for architecture, data flow, and endpoints.

Deploying solution

Designed API bridge for secure data exchange between the Raspberry Pi Python server and Android mobile front end.

Customising Business Logic

Refactored simulated sensor code on Android to consume real sensor data via Flask-provided APIs, customizing the business logic and UI integration.

Scale & Optimize

Customising Business Logic Coordinated iterative delivery with client, scaling the development team as needed to meet timeframes.

Results & Impact
